2017 global peoples summit
Summit snap shot
Launched in 2017, in partnership with the United Nations, The Global People’s Summit, is an online convening that brings people from around the world together during the UN General Assembly (UNGA) to discuss global challenges and reimagine humanity together. Leveraging technology (a digital platform) we break down the barriers of geography and access, allowing more people to join high-level conversations happening at the UN and connecting like-minded individuals ready to collaborate for a better future.
The summit is a day-long event that is streamed live online and includes high-level speakers from the UN, business leaders, government officials and activists. Unlike other gatherings during UNGA, the Global People’s Summit, invites people from all over the world to join these leaders in conversations about the Sustainable Development Goals – providing them a platform to engage directly with speakers and other changemakers, tools and resources to develop their own agency and inspiring stories of like-minded individuals creating a difference worldwide.
